Every 3 minutes, someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with a blood cancer. These diagnoses shatter lives, forever changing the stories of patients, parents, children, friends, and colleagues. Blood cancers like leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma don’t just impact the person fighting—they ripple through families, workplaces, and entire communities.
This year, Acme Distribution is proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with patients, survivors, and families by joining our first-ever Light the Night Walk, a community event organized by Blood Cancer United. Together with thousands of individuals and organizations across the country, we will raise lanterns to celebrate survivors, honor those we’ve lost, and commit to a brighter future for all impacted by these diseases.
The funds raised from this event are not abstract numbers, they are lifelines. They fuel groundbreaking research that leads to better treatments and cures. They ensure patients have access to free, trusted information and support during the most frightening time of their lives. They provide urgent financial assistance so families can focus on healing, not bills.
For our inaugural year, Acme has set an ambitious goal to raise $20,000. This mission is deeply personal to us. Several of our own managers and employees have had their lives touched by blood cancer, whether through their own diagnosis, or through loved ones. For us, this isn’t just about fundraising. It’s about standing for our colleagues, friends, and family members who have faced the unimaginable. It’s about shining a light so that no one walks this path alone.
We invite you to join us on this journey. Support Team Acme with a donation, or walk beside us as we carry lanterns of hope through the night. Every contribution, no matter the size, is a step closer to cures—and a step closer to a future where families don’t have to hear the words, “You have cancer.”
Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can shine a light on the darkness of blood cancer.
